A well-established, privately held underground civil contractor in northern Indiana is seeking a Controller to lead and modernize its accounting function, owning job and equipment cost accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and cash flow while sharpening job-cost analysis for operations. This is a chance to lead a department from the front, with both the support and the autonomy to own it.

The ideal candidate has led accounting for a self-perform civil or heavy-highway contractor and knows WIP, unit price billing, cost-to-complete, and profit recognition, with the confidence to build process and grow a team.
